Can I return this rest if I can't make it fit comfortably?

Your Bon Musica isn't working out? We're sorry to hear that but are here to assist for the best possible outcome.

It is highly uncommon to see the Bonmusica not fitting well as it is so versatile in its many adjustments and settings. In fact, we only see 1 of these returned every 2-3 years on average. Rhiannon is highly skilled and fitting these for her in-shop customers and is confident, with her instructions and feedback, it will work for you with some time adjusting it.

Return a Bonmusica

Should you still choose to return the shoulder rest, you’re welcome to do so.

Note all returns require the advance issue of an RA (Return Authorization) number from Fiddleheads, which must be obtained by emailing us prior to the return.

 

Exceptions

There are some exceptions to returns, some owing to the nature of the product's components:

  1. If the rest has had more than subtle alterations/bends to the frame or hook section, for example bending the metal repeatedly (this can cause metal fatique) or at a sharp angle to make it quite different from the original shape, we cannot accept it back to our inventory. Other permanent alterations such as cutting the foam padding or the rest missing pieces also void potential for return.

  2. We will not issue a refund for a Bonmusica used in an environment with cigarette or other smoke. Some clients are sensitive to the odor that seeps into the foam. Likewise, we do not take back replacement parts containing foam elements that were exposed to smoke.

  3. We only issue RA numbers within 10 days of the customer's physical receipt of the rest. Naturally, extra time is allowed for its journey back to us past the "departure" date. You may opt for a shipping method with tracking so you can monitor its safe progress.

These policies are subject to change at the discretion of Fiddleheads. We reserve the right to disallow return of Bonmusicas if it is a matter of hygiene as, unlike chin rests, they cannot be cleaned as effectively due to their materials.
