How can I reattach the foam padding to my Bonmusica?

The designers/manufacturers of the Bonmusica in Germany use use Pattex from Henkel, which is only available in Europe, but it is same as contact cement glues available in North America.

That said, Rhiannon doesn't use glue. It's messy and can make removing the foam when it wears down more difficult.

The she uses and recommends heavy duty double-sided and nylon-reinforced carpet tape to hold her padding in place. You can buy this tape at any home improvement or hardware store. It's useful to have on hand for many other handy home and office fixes.

HELPFUL HINT: For on-the-go repairs, Rhiannon has a clever solution: she keeps a trimmed strip of double-sided, reinforced carpet tape in a ziplock baggie in her violin case "just in case."
