[Erin compared the 909 to the 907 on trial]
I shied away from the 909 initially as I felt a bit intimidated, but after reading the testimonials, I was intrigued! Everything I have read about the 909 has been positive and my experience playing it has been positive as well.
I am feeling more motivated to play, and more confident too. I really enjoyed the trial and mostly played the 909, which I really like – especially for how much better I sound in 3rd position!
My teacher was impressed with the craftsmanship and tone but thought I should try a few others before I move forward with purchase.
I extended the trial a couple more weeks but didn't think I needed another 909 to compare, though it was good to have the option. I decided to go ahead with the 909 and added fine tuners to it, using a video Rhiannon recorded just for me so I could learn to do it myself.
